CIFCIN holds maiden AGM, elects executives

The Lagos Chapter of the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (CIFCIN) has held its first yearly general meeting in Lagos.

Also, the new chapter has unveiled its executives, which include Olubode Oni (chairman), Victor Falade (secretary), Ayodele Osagbemi (assistant. secretary) and Dr Thompson Aiyegunle (treasurer).

Others are Perpetual Akinrodoye (financial secretary), Marcus Ayuba (public relations officer) and Babatunde Obabori (internal auditor).

The executive team consists of active professionals in the private and public sectors with at least 25 years of professional practice, a statement by the body said

Speaking at the AGM, Oni said the chapter was in its infancy but would work hard to add value.

He called on the members to start well and put in more hard work for the growth of the chapter

“We must gather speed quickly to project our professional practice in Nigeria and globally. We all need to participate fully in all the chapter’s activities and contribute positively to hasten the growth of the chapter,” he noted.
