A 22-year-old youth, Kehinde Ogundeyi, on January 14, 2024 drowned in Ogun river after playing football with peers.
The drowning incident was reported to the Enugada Police Division by another player, Mohammed Umar.
Umar narrated that Ogundeyi informed them of going to take his bath in the river after they finished playing and had not returned till the time of report.

The police visited the scene and recovered a pair of slippers and a knicker belonging to the said Ogundeyi
Investigation is ongoing as Ogundeyi’s body is yet to be recovered.
