Gov. Adeleke extends tenure of Osun Head of Service
Governor Ademola Adeleke has extended the tenure of the Head of Service, Osun State, Elder Samuel Ayanleye Aina, till 2026.
A statement said this was to deepen and conclude the ongoing reform and revitalization of the civil service.
A statement by the spokesman of the Governor, Olawale Rasheed, on Saturday said the approval of the service extension was convened to the Head of Service via a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor.
It cited constitutional powers conferred on the Governor with respect to the appointments of top civil service officials.

Adeleke acknowledged the commitment of Elder Aina to efficient public service and productivity, appreciating his successful implementation of various public sector reforms after governorship approvals.
The Governor further directed top officials of the service to continue to maintain strong discipline and teamwork for seamless implementation of the administration’s five point agenda.
