A former lawn tennis star of Nigeria, Tanya Okpala, has been sighted in a disturbing video.
The lawyer, who used to stay in the United States of America, spoke incoherently and looked very unkempt.
Okpala had a gauze on her left leg, obviously from an injury.
While being questioned by the person who shot and made the video viral, she begged for water, adding that she would, however, prefer Sprite, a mineral water produced by Coca-Cola Bottling Company.
She also said she has had virtually nothing to eat all day.
Following the release of the video, the Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo, has announced the rescue of the former lawn tennis star.
Soludo declared that the Anambra State Government will be responsible for the rehabilitation and reintegration of the US-based tennis player and legal attorney.

The governor made the announcement in an official post shared on his social media handle.
He said: “Tanya Okpala (Fmr Tennis Champion) is now in the custody of the Anambra State Government.
“She was with the Commissioner for Women Affairs when my wife spoke with her on the phone.
“My government will ensure her rehabilitation and fruitful reunion with her daughter and family.”
