Ogun: Police nab 12 suspect causing community unrest over land
Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have apprehended 12 suspected hoodlums causing unrest at Agodo village in Ogun Waterside.
The Eagle Online learnt that the suspects were arrested by operatives of Abigi Divisional Police Headquarters.
The action was said to be sequel to a report by a 55-year-old man that the police should take action against the group of people terrorising the villagers.
The man who called the attention of the police to the development explained that the hoodlums, for days, have been blocking and attacking villagers on the road that links Apata and Odomukeje farmlands.
Detectives, led by the Divisional Crime Officer, Abigi Police Division, raced to the scene and arrested 12 suspects connected with the case.
The suspects were immediately charged to court and investigation is still on to apprehend other fleeing suspects.
