The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said that the laws of the state are not targeted at any particular tribe or section.
He said this in a live interview in which he spoke on his plans to make the state a better place.
Answering a question on the interpretation into the ongoing demolition of houses causing pains to the state, especially those sitting on drainage, Sanwo-Olu said it was for the good of all.
The Governor, who had earlier revealed that he had been challenged over the flooding of Lekki area of the state whenever it rained, said the government cannot fold its hands while illegalities lead to problems for the state.
He said laws are meant for all to obey.
Sanwo-Olu equally spoke on the issue of landlords demanding for more than one year rent from tenants.
He said a body was set up by the state government to tackle the issue, encouraging Lagosians to report such landlords.

He also frowned at those who charge rents in dollar, adding that even the Central Bank of Nigeria law does not allow for this.
