President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Deputy Comptroller General Kemi Nanna Nandap to serve as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, effective from March 1, 2024.
A statement by the Special Adviser to the President, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, said DCG Nandap takes over from Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, whose term in office expires on February 29, 2024.
Before she was appointed Comptroller-General, Nandap was the Deputy Comptroller-General in charge of the Migration Directorate of the Service.

PRNigeria gathered that Kemi Nandap, whose state of origin is Ogun State, was born on June 3, 1966 in Zaria, Kaduna State.
She attended the University of Ilorin and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
She had held several senior positions, including as Assistant Comptroller-General Zone C; Officer-In-Charge of Investigation and Compliance; O/C Economic Community of West African States and African Affairs; and Deputy Comptroller at Nasarawa Command.
She was also Comptroller at NIS Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos and Comptroller of the Plateau Command.
She served in other commands, including Anambra, Ogun, Federal Capital Territory and the NIS headquarters in Abuja.
