Why Herbert Wigwe, wife, sons were in US — Report + Crash video

A report by Sahara Reporters has unveiled why the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings PLC, Herbert Wigwe, his wife and two children were in the United States of America when the helicopter in which they were travelling crashed on Friday night.

The Eagle Online is reporting that he died with others in the helicopter crash in California, United States of America.

The Wigwes and others with them were reported to be heading to Las Vegas when their helicopter crashed near a border city between Nevada and California.

According to Sahara Reporters, Wigwe and his family were in the United States of America to watch Super Bowl 58, an American football competition.

The report said Wigwe left Lagos on Wednesday for the Super Bowl 58 to be played on February 11, 2024 (today) at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

A source told the medium on Saturday: “Wigwe’s wife and two kids also died in the crash. 

“He left Lagos on Wednesday to watch the US Super Bowl.

“One Bimbo Ogunbanjo was also on the flight. 

“Bimbo Ogunbanjo is the son of businessman, Chris Ogunbanjo.”
