The management of the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo, Oyo State has denied having in its employment a suspect arrested in connection with the storming of the Oyo State Government Secretariat, Ibadan by Yoruba Nation agitators, Alabi Ogundeji.
The position of the College was contained in a statement by its Registrar, J. A. Araoye, issued to the media on Tuesday.
The Eagle Online recalls that Ogundeji had told newsmen during his parade by the Oyo State Police Command that he works with the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo as a lecturer.
The 55-year-old said he did not regret taking part in the invasion.
Araoye said: “The management of the college wishes to state that the said Alabi Ogundeji is not a lecturer in the college.

“For the avoidance of doubt, ‘Alabi Ogundeji’ is a strange name to the college as no person with such a name has ever been appointed by the college or has any direct or indirect employment relationship with the college.
“The Nigeria Police, all the other security agents and the general public are to please, note.”
