Ministers in Cross River commend WWNCR for late Joseph Wayas’ repatriation

The Cross River Ministers Network has extended its felicitations to the committee and convener of WWNCR and as well appreciated them for their role in the repatriation of the body of the late former senate president, Dr. Joseph Wayas, to Nigeria.

The Network gave the commendation in a statement co-signed by Pastor Terry Odey and Pastor Emmanuel Agede, its National Coordinator and Secretary-General respectively.

The statement read: “It is our honour on behalf of the Cross River Ministers Network to extend our felicitations to Distinguished Elders, Your Excellences, Great Sons and Daughters of WWNCR and to say a very big THANK YOU for your dogged and tenacious contributions, sacrifices and efforts that culminated in the successful repatriation of the remains of Distinguished Senator (Dr.) Joseph Wayas from England to Nigeria and his successful burial last weekend.

“The unity of purpose, cooperation and single mindedness that culminated in these achievements are unprecedented and it is our prayer that this will continue until we achieve the ultimate creation of Ogoja State.

“Your labour is not in vain as you have laid the solid foundation and set a precedence that can only be bettered and improved upon or nothing else.

“God rewards the selfless labour of love for communal dispositions like this that touches the lives of all and sundry. You have written your names in gold in the annals of our history as a people and it would not be forgotten in a hurry.

“Thank you for a job well done. We pray for more graceful insight going forward for WWNCR knowing that the journey has just begun.

“Let’s hold on to the vision guardedly and jealously knowing that if we faint not, celebration cometh sooner than later.

“For the enemies of WWNCR, we advise them to give up and team up instead, otherwise take notice that “it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks”

“Ours is a prayer network for our state and we assure you that no day will pass without us praying for you for more grace going forward. And because we know God answers prayers, yours and our collective success is assured.”
