Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers to carry out system maintenance exercise

Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited has announced the temporary closure of select branches as well as the suspension of its digital channels due to a scheduled system maintenance exercise.

Stanbic IBTC, in a notice sent to customers as seen by The Guardian, stated that certain branches will close early, at 12:00 PM on Friday, December 6, 2024.

The bank also noted that the Contact Center will be unavailable from this time and will resume operations by 9:00 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

It also added that the system maintenance exercise will occur between 12:00 midnight and 8:00 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2024, rendering Stanbic IBTC’s digital platforms inaccessible during this period.

Stanbic IBTC noted that customers will be unable to access their Retirement Savings Accounts (RSAs) or perform transactions on these channels.

The bank, however, assured customers that regular business operations at all branches and digital services will resume fully on Monday, December 9, 2024.

The notice read, “We wish to inform you that the attached list of branches will be closed to customers by 12.00pm on Friday, 06 December 2024. Additionally, our Contact Center will be unavailable until 9:00am on Saturday, 07 December 2024.

“Furthermore, we will be carrying out a system maintenance exercise from 12 midnight to 8:00am on Saturday, 07 December 2024. During this period, our digital channels will be unavailable for accessing your Retirement Saving Account.

“Normal Business activities across our branches will resume on Monday, 09 December 2024.

“We sincerely appreciate your understanding and thank you for your continued patronage.”
