Wema Bank retains Nigeria Bankers Games’ title
Wema Bank has won the Nigeria Bankers Game (NBG) for the third consecutive year, beaten all the other competitors with a total of 10 gold medals.
The bank was victories across various events, including table tennis, volleyball, scrabble, video games, 100m and 200m women races, and the 4x100m women relay.
This year’s event also celebrated individual brilliance, with Bukky Olorunmaye, one of Wema Bank’s standout athletes, earning the title of NBG 2024 Female Athlete of the Year.
The NBG is a platform that fosters camaraderie, teamwork, and a spirit of healthy competition among Nigeria’s leading banks.

Earlier, the Female Athlete of the Year, Olorunmaye said competing alongside other talented individuals and representing Wema Bank was a humbling and fulfilling experience.
