The feud between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels’ family and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, has escalated once again, this time, through a leaked audio recording and a series of fiery posts from Regina’s elder brother, Lawrence Daniels.
In the newly surfaced clip, Lawrence is heard confronting Ned about physical violence and hypocrisy, directly referencing the senator’s public claim that he had never hit any of his wives.
“You’ve lived in the UK for years,” Lawrence was heard saying, adding: “You know you can’t go to a court in the UK and tell the court: ‘I slapped her two times.’
“You can’t say that.”
In response, a voice alleged to be Nwoko’s replied: “In the UK… oh yes, let me tell you — I will slap if my wife does something.”
The exchange appears to contradict Nwoko’s interview with TVC, where he said he had “never laid a hand on any of (his) wives”.
Neither Nwoko nor his media team had addressed the newly circulated recording at the time of going to press.
Alongside the leaked audio, Lawrence posted a string of furious messages on social media, accusing Nwoko of manipulation, lies, and abuse of power.
“I dare you to post receipts where you sent me $75k,” he wrote, adding: “Now wait for Ned to call it AI voice note — make I release more!
“Omo, you dey beg us to calm down before you post?
“Oya we don continue.”
He accused the senator of creating “dirty narratives” and dragging innocent people into their family dispute.
In another post, Lawrence doubled down, rejecting Nwoko’s portrayal of him as financially dependent: “Oga Ned, post where you sent me $75k abeg.
“I’ve built three houses in Nigeria.
“I drove more than six cars and still got three cars before I travelled to the UK, which none of your kids have driven or built.
“You always called me a big boy, common man — why are you trying to push a wrong narrative?
“You’re a manipulator!
“Only gullible people will believe you.”
Lawrence accused Nwoko of trying to silence the family through media intimidation: “This fame you dey crave will over you.
“Leave us alone.
“You’re calling your own daughter’s family druggies.
“Treat your other families right!
“Old man wey dey lie anyhow.”
Lawrence further detailed several incidents, including alleged physical altercations, mistreatment of staff, and the controversial removal of a child from the family home.
“Second fight was when Sammy’s daughter and Munir had an argument,” he claimed, adding: “Ned asked that little girl, that was sick to be taken away from the house at 3 a.m.!

“Which led to the first fight between him and Sammy.
“Your securities can attest to that.
“You slap your nannies!
“Don’t come here and act like you’re not violent.
“Tell your nannies to speak up how they’ve been slapped.
“You said any man can slap his wife anywhere in the world and defend it as self-defence.
“But because it’s Ned, it’s not violence?”
