President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has declared that Nigeria will overcome all forms of banditry.
He assured citizens that security remains a top priority of his administration.
The president said this Kebbi State at the grand finale of the Argungu International Fishing Festival.
According to him,“We will win the war against any form of banditry in the country; farmers will return to their farms across the country.”
He commended Nasir Idris for project execution and the construction of the ultramodern state secretariat.
Tinubu described the governor as a team leader whose efforts are positioning Kebbi as a growing tourism destination.
The president also praised the Emir of Argungu and the Sultan of Sokoto for honouring the occasion.
He added,“Very good show and remarkable history; the fishing festival endured for many years. It represents our culture”
Furthermore, he pledged federal support to strengthen agriculture in Kebbi.
Tinubu reaffirmed his commitment to achieving food sufficiency and expanding renewable energy to improve electricity supply in the state.
In his welcome address, Nasir Idris expressed appreciation for the president’s visit, describing it as a sign of federal support for Kebbi’s development agenda.
