Princess Comedian Criticizes Biola Over Handling of Baba Ijesha Interview

Nigerian comedienne Princess Comedian has publicly expressed strong displeasure toward actress and media personality Biola over her role in a controversial interview involving Baba Ijesha.
Princess, who has been at the center of the highly publicized child abuse case against Baba Ijesha, accused Biola of insensitivity and deliberate actions aimed at generating online traffic rather than respecting the emotional weight of the situation.
In her statement, Princess referenced Biola’s past marital struggles, which reportedly ended last year, noting that many people witnessed how she sought privacy while navigating that difficult period. She questioned why Biola, having experienced such vulnerability as an adult, would fail to show empathy toward a minor who allegedly suffered trauma at a tender age.
Princess further alleged that Biola intentionally allowed Baba Ijesha to mention the name of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo during the interview to attract attention and boost engagement on her platform.
She also dismissed Biola’s claim that the video was deleted, arguing that the action came only after it had already gone viral and achieved its intended reach.
Additionally, Princess stated that Biola had not reached out to her or shown concern for her daughter throughout the ordeal, despite having communicated on several occasions in the past. She concluded by describing Biola as “wicked and insensitive,” while also questioning her character and values.
The controversy continues to generate reactions across social media, with many Nigerians divided over the ethics of the interview and the broader handling of sensitive abuse-related issues in the public space.
