Sunday Igboho Allegedly Orders ‘Abduction’ Of TikToker Over Peter Obi Support, Issues 24-Hour Ultimatum

A fresh controversy has erupted involving Sunday Igboho following reports of a leaked audio in which he allegedly directed supporters to abduct a TikToker known as “Funny Thinker.”
According to reports, the activist—popularly associated with the Yoruba Nation movement—was heard issuing a 24-hour ultimatum for his loyalists to apprehend the content creator after the latter publicly challenged his political stance.
What Sparked The Clash
The dispute reportedly began after “Funny Thinker” (identified as Wale Owokanpa Aburumoku) criticized Igboho’s earlier remarks, opposing campaign activities in the South-West by opposition figures, including Peter Obi.
Igboho had previously declared support for President Bola Tinubu’s second-term ambition and warned against allowing certain politicians to campaign in the region.
In response, the TikToker released a viral video questioning Igboho’s authority to restrict democratic political activities, calling such threats “wrong” and undemocratic.
Alleged Threat in Leaked Audio
The leaked audio—circulating widely online—reportedly captures Igboho instructing associates to take action against the critic within a specified timeframe, raising concerns over freedom of expression and safety of online commentators.
Uncertainty and Reactions
The authenticity of the audio has not been independently verified.
The development has sparked mixed reactions online, with some expressing alarm and others questioning whether the recording may have been fabricated.
