Actor Ving Rhames Collapses In A Restaurant

‎Veteran actor Ving Rhames ‎reportedly collapsed while dining with his family on Wednesday, April 29, prompting an emergency response. Witnesses said he appeared to drift in and out of consciousness before paramedics arrived and transported him to the hospital.

‎The Mission: Impossible star, 66, was later discharged from the hospital and is recovering after suffering a medical scare at a Los Angeles restaurant.

‎Officials confirmed that a medical call was made for a man in his 60s in the early afternoon, and that he was taken to a hospital for treatment.

‎A representative for Rhames later said the incident was likely caused by overheating and that the actor is now feeling fine. He has since been released from the hospital and was even said to be in good spirits, joking as he left.

‎Rhames is widely known for his role as Luther Stickell in the Mission: Impossible franchise, as well as standout performances in Pulp Fiction and Jacob’s Ladder.
