Carter Efe laments financial pressure from family

Nigerian content creator and singer Carter Efe has opened up about the financial strain he faces from constant demands by family members.

He made this known in a recent livestream, while speaking on the drama between influencer, Geh Geh and his sister.

Speaking on the issue, he revealed that he frequently receives requests for money from his relatives, including large sums that have significantly affected his finances.

He noted that even after offering financial support, additional requests often follow shortly after.

Carter Efe described the situation as draining, warning that without setting boundaries, individuals may find themselves working hard with little to show for it due to continuous financial obligations.

“I have 7 brothers and they call me everyday for money. My senior brother even went as far as asking me to send him 1 million, it affected my whole life, I sent my sister 1000 dollars to get a phone, 2days after, she called me again to send her money for her birthday photoshoot, it’s draining and you’ll just be working with nothing to show for it if you’re not wise as a man…”
