Large Turnout in Okigwe for Senator Patrick Ndubueze’s Engagement with APC Leaders, Elected Officia

The Ancient and pristine town of Okigwe,headquarters of Okigwe local government area of Imo state was agog as it came alive on Saturday 18th April 2026,when the Senator representing Imo North distinguished Sen(Engr)Patrick Chinwuba Ndubueze,played host to all the newly elected APC party executives from ward to zonal level and party leaders in Imo North Senatorial zone.
Amongst the dignitaries from the zone who graced the occasion in solidarity with Senator Ndubueze was the number three citizen of Imo state and speaker of Imo state house of Assembly Rt Hon Chike Olemgbe,who was accompanied by a strong contingent of other principal officers and members of the House.
Also present were party leaders,including former legislators at both state and federal govts, from each of the six local government areas in the zone who spoke excellently well and with so much encomium on distinguished Senator Ndubueze for the steady and consistent progress he has been making in greatly improving the lot of the zone for the past three years.
The ceremony which took place at the Police field Okigwe commenced with powerful prayers from a substantial array of Christian clergy present, (which is the hallmark of Senator Ndubueze’s programs), who committed the the Senator, Ditto Okigwe zone into the hands of God Almighty following the unfortunate spate of insecurity that bedeviled the zone over the past few years.They thereby expressed their gratitude to God for gradually returning peace to the zone.
The reception ground got electrified and agog when Senator Ndubueze arrived with loud ovation from the massive crowd,as he made his way round to the stands appreciating their presence and unwavering support.
The event which was primarily aimed at acquaintance with the new officials and thanking/ appreciating them alongside other party faithfuls who trouped into the venue from the entire INEC 64 electoral wards of the zone in their large numbers, also turned out to be a firm affirmation to the belief in the sterling stewardship of the the selfless and uncommon Senator, who have evidently distinguished himself as the legacy Senator of this current dispensation.
The climax of the occasion came when the Senator took his time to reel out his numerous developmental interventions in the zone in the 10th Senate,with includes all his sponsored Bills, motions, empowerment and employment opportunities to so many of her constituents as well as sustainable mega projects attracted to the zone within the last three years of his stewardship,eg,Federal University Okigwe,Greater Okigwe Power Project,Ezinnachi mega grain silo project, major arterial road networks traversing the six local government areas of the state.etc.
In his parting short the Senator glowingly spoke and profoundly thanked the Executive Governor of Imo state,His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma, who availed him the unparalleled opportunity for this service to his people and most importantly gave him all the needed and uncompromised support in actualizing and bringing into fruition every of his achievements within this duration of his stewardship to Imo North Senatorial District.
