Settle your conflict before talking about us—Ebonyi APC tells ADC

By Chukwuemeka Opara
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi has urged the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the state to settle its internal conflict instead of attributing its woes to it (APC).
The Ebonyi APC Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro-Emegha gave the counsel on Friday in Abakaliki while reacting to a statement by an ADC factional chairman that his party was afraid of the opposition party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Okoro-Emegha in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs, Chijioke Agwu and made available to newsmen, said the APC did not have issues with a party with two chairmen.
“The ADC should put its house in order after conducting two parallel state congresses which produced factional chairmen.
“The party should therefore, not waste its strength talking about the APC as it regards the general elections but deploy such to resolve its conflict.
“APC has an undisputed chairman in Ebonyi and that is how to know a party that is ready for the elections,” he said.
He noted that Ebonyi people were comfortable with Gov. Francis Nwifuru and the ruling APC and would prove such with their votes in 2027.
“You do not need a mirror to view what is on one’s wrist as APC’s strides, acceptability and unity are evidential,” he said. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
