Apostle Johnson Suleman, founder of Omega Fire Ministries, has condemned Nigeria’s leadership following the recent deadly attack in Jos, describing the situation as a clear failure of governance.
In a message shared on his social media page, the outspoken cleric criticised leaders for prioritising political interests over the safety and wellbeing of citizens.
According to him, the incident in Jos highlights a troubling pattern where leadership appears disconnected from the urgent need to protect lives. He warned that future generations would judge current leaders harshly if they continue to ignore their responsibilities while focusing on political ambitions.
Suleman stressed that while prayer remains important, it cannot replace effective leadership and accountability. He called for more compassionate and empathetic leaders, noting that many Nigerians are growing increasingly frustrated and emotionally drained by the recurring violence.
He also extended his condolences to families who lost loved ones in the attack, offering prayers for strength and comfort as they cope with the tragedy.
