Turkey: Fenerbahce report Osimhen to Turkish Federation ahead of game against Galatasaray

Fenerbahce is preparing to submit an official report to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) prior to their match against Galatasaray on Sunday.
As reported by Samet Çayır of Fanatik, Fenerbahçe plans to lodge a complaint regarding Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen has been utilizing a specialized, custom-made bandage to safeguard his right forearm following a fracture incurred during a UEFA Champions League match against Liverpool on March 18.
The medical device, which he donned during his return from injury in Wednesday’s Turkish Cup game against Gençlerbirliği, is designed to immobilize the wrist, reduce pain, and prevent further injury while enabling him to continue participating in the game.
Fenerbahçe contends that the protective gear is overly rigid and may endanger the safety of rival players.
The club’s medical staff has prepared a comprehensive report evaluating the materials allowed under International Football Association Board regulations, thereby reinforcing their stance ahead of the official submission.
With four matches left in the 2025-2026 Super Lig season, the Intercontinental Derby could be crucial in determining whether the title race is effectively concluded.
Defending champions Galatasaray maintain a four-point advantage over second-placed Fenerbahçe and are seven points ahead of Trabzonspor.
