He maintained that allegations of manipulation should not be treated as mere public claims without evidence, stressing that members with concrete proof should formally present their complaints before the party’s appeal panel.
“Allegations cannot just come without proofs. The party has already constituted an appeal committee,” Ologbondiyan stated during the interview.
“Those who can prove the allegations of manipulation can go to the appeal committee,” he added.
He explained that the party possesses the necessary machinery to address conflicts and reconcile dissatisfied members ahead of the 2027 general election.
“We have leaders in the party who will manage all issues. The party has machinery through which it can resolve internal matters,” he said.
Ologbondiyan’s remarks come amid growing discussions following the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as the ADC’s presidential candidate for the 2027 election after defeating Rotimi Amaechi and Mohammed Hayatu-Deen in the party’s primary election.
