Andrew Keegan Denies His Former Spiritual Group Was A ‘Cult’

Andrew Keegan is once again shutting down claims that his former spiritual community, Full Circle, was a cult.

Speaking on the ‘McBride Rewind’ podcast with Josh McBride, the ‘10 Things I Hate About You’ actor reflected on creating the California-based group in the mid-2010s after headlines suggested he had started his own religion.

“I led a spiritual community in the heart of Venice, and it was called Full Circle,” Keegan said, adding that media coverage at the time was exaggerated and driven by “clickbait.”

The actor explained that the group was simply focused on bringing people together for healing, conversation and spiritual connection. While acknowledging that some organisations have misused power and spirituality, Keegan insisted that was “not at all” what Full Circle represented.

He also spoke about the meaning of spirituality and community, saying the group encouraged people to reflect on personal growth and healing from past trauma.
