Puerto Rican music star Bad Bunny is officially stepping into the world of Toy Story 5 with a surprising new role.
Disney recently announced that the Grammy-winning singer, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, will voice a toy character named “Pizza with Sunglasses” in the highly anticipated animated movie, which is set to hit theatres on June 19.
According to Disney, the character is exactly what the name suggests, a slice of pizza wearing sunglasses. The studio described Pizza with Sunglasses as “effortlessly cool and mysterious” and revealed that the toy belongs to “a small but mighty community of forgotten toys that live in an abandoned backyard shed.”
The 32-year-old entertainer will reportedly make a voice cameo in the film.
Beyond music, Bad Bunny has continued to build an acting career. He previously appeared in Bullet Train alongside Brad Pitt and also featured in Saturday Night Live.
His upcoming screen projects include the historical drama ‘Porto Rico’, directed by Residente, whose real name is René Pérez Joglar.
