A group of Chinese nationals has donated food items and clothing worth millions of naira to vulnerable residents in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area as part of humanitarian support activities ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.The distribution was held at the palace of the District Head of Dawakin Tofa under the supervision of Yusuf Nabahani Ci Gari and the leader of the Chinese delegation, Dan Isah Chinese.Items distributed included bags of rice, cooking oil, spaghetti, and wrappers.
Speaking during the event, Yusuf Nabahani Ci Gari commended the Chinese community for supporting vulnerable groups during the festive period, noting that the distribution process would be conducted transparently to ensure fairness to beneficiaries.The donation was supported by the Henan Merchants Association of Nigeria, Chinese Business Community Association of Nigeria, Shi Jin Quarry Nigeria Limited, Inner Galaxy Steel Company Limited, Yi Dong Nigeria Limited, and Kanonxin Sheng Trade Limited.
Dan Isah Chinese said the initiative reflected the long-standing relationship between Nigeria and China. He added that Chinese businesses in Kano remained committed to cooperation based on mutual respect and economic development. He also called for continued support from the Kano State Government to ensure a stable business environment for investors and operators in the state.
