Ghanaian Actress Beverly Afaglo Dies At 42

Popular Ghanaian actress and media personality, Beverly Afaglo, has passed away just four days before her 43rd birthday.
Her husband, Eugene Kwadwo Baah, popularly known as Choirmaster of the famous Hiplife music group, Praye, confirmed the sad development in a social media post.
While the official cause of death remains unknown, a member of the Praye music group, Praye Tietia, disclosed in an interview that the actress had been battling an undisclosed illness for several weeks before she succumbed.
In an emotional tribute, her husband expressed deep sorrow, describing the late actress as the pillar of his life and happiness.
“My heart is shattered beyond words over the death of my beloved wife Beverly Afaglo,” he wrote. “It would have been just like four more days to your birthday, but I guess the Lord wanted to celebrate with you, so He called you. You were my strength, my happiness, and the reason my life felt complete.”
He added that the family would issue an official statement regarding her burial arrangements.
Born on May 28, 1983, Afaglo was a household name in the Ghanaian movie industry (Ghollywood), widely recognised for her roles in several hit films and television productions.
Her notable film credits include Return of Beyonce (2006), Crime to Christ (2007), Girls Connection (2008), The Game (2010), Single Six (2011), and Secret Burden (2012).
