Popular Nigerian actress and fashion influencer, Temi Otedola, has revealed that she and her husband, Afrobeats superstar Oluwatosin Ajibade, widely known as Mr Eazi, discovered they were expecting their first child during their honeymoon.
The couple shared the news of expecting their first child together by posting maternity photographs on social media on Thursday. The announcement comes after their series of high-profile wedding ceremonies in 2025, which spanned Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland.
Speaking exclusively to the people, the 30-year-old actress explained that the news came while they were on a two-month travel break across East Asia.
“After wrapping up three weddings in 2025, we wanted to end the year with a 2-month, digital-detoxed honeymoon, travelling across Korea and Japan. That’s when we found out! We are beyond excited to start our family and welcome a little one to our cocoon of two,” she stated.
Otedola shared that keeping the news a surprise for family and friends has been incredibly memorable, with the couple presenting ultrasound printouts to their loved ones across different continents as a special surprise.
While the couple is keeping the baby’s sex private for now, she noted they have already begun discussing name ideas, in line with Nigerian tradition of involving their parents in the naming process.
