Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince, has shared some details about his last encounter with the Late Nigerian actor, Alexx Ekubo, revealing the memorable moment that has stayed with him and will continue to do so.
In an interview with TVC, the rapper said Alexx Ekubo showed him kindness and support during their final meeting. This act of selflessness was shown in public, he said.
He further said he saw Alexx during a cancer awareness walk organised by the actor in Abuja in 2024, and that was the last time he saw him.
According to Ice Prince, nobody knew Alexx was silently fighting a deadly disease.
In his words, “The last time I saw Alexx Ekubo was during the cancer awareness walk he organised in Abuja in 2024. Despite leading such a powerful cause, he never told anyone he was quietly battling cancer himself.”
Ice Prince noted that the experience reflected Ekubo’s personality, with his calmness and positivity, and the way he related to people around him.
“May his gentle soul continue to rest in peace,” he concluded.
