I’ll Put Plateau People First – Ropshik

Chief Kefiano Kefas Ropshik, a governorship aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has declared that his vision is to put Plateau people first in all his actions.

According to Ropshik, he has been successfully screened and cleared to participate in the forthcoming party governorship primary election in Plateau State.

He said the screening exercise was conducted at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja, as the party continued preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking after the screening, Ropshik described the development as another important step in his aspiration to lead Plateau State, expressing confidence in his vision and commitment to the people.

“Earlier today, I was at PDP Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, for my screening exercise, another significant stride in this noble journey to serve the good people of Plateau State as their Governor,” he said.

He further reaffirmed his determination to pursue people-oriented leadership and sustainable development across the state.

“The vision is clear, the resolve is unwavering, and the mission continues. #PlateauFirst,” Ropshik added.

The successful clearance now positions the PDP aspirant to officially contest in the forthcoming governorship primary election, where party delegates will determine the party’s candidate for the 2027 governorship race in Plateau State.

Political supporters and stakeholders have continued to express optimism over Ropshik’s ambition, describing his emergence in the race as a reflection of growing calls for visionary leadership and inclusive governance in Plateau State.

Observers within the party believe the contest for the PDP governorship ticket is expected to attract significant attention as consultations and political mobilisation intensify across the state.
