Imo Consolidation Project Hails Uzodimma’s Primary Win As Victory For Democracy

The Imo Consolidation Project (ICP) has congratulated Governor Hope Uzodimma on his victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primaries in Imo State, describing the result as a win for democracy, inclusiveness and consolidation.
National Coordinator Dr. Fabian Onyewuchi Iwuoha, addressing journalists in Owerri, said Uzodimma’s success reflects his accountability, accessibility, selfless service and commitment to human capital development.
He urged that the governor, who has overseen significant socio-economic projects in the state, should be allowed to move to the national level to consolidate those gains.
“This is a time for a paradigm shift in partnership with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda,” Dr. Iwuoha said.
“Governor Uzodimma’s enduring legacies have transformed Imo State, and citizens are rejoicing. We must support him as he seeks to represent the Orlu zone in the National Assembly.”
Dr. Iwuoha added that Uzodimma’s victory signals support for youth empowerment, industrialization of the Orlu zone, and responsive, inclusive leadership.
He also praised the governor’s role in improving security and stability across the state.
“We appreciate APC leaders, stakeholders, delegates, women and local party members for listening to reason and supporting the collective aspiration.
“This triumph is collective — a victory for a new generation determined to shape the future of our constituency,” he stated.
Dr. Iwuoha concluded that Uzodimma is well positioned to represent Orlu effectively and to attract democratic dividends for the people.
