Singer Vikwyn Launches Digital Marketplace For African Creatives

Afrobeat singer and producer, Victor Ogbowu, popularly known as Vikwyn, has announced the launch of a new digital platform designed to bridge the gap between African music producers and performing artists.
The artist, who is the Chief Executive Officer of XXVIBE Music and Musicplanet Worldwide Ltd, stated that the initiative aims to provide a structured support system for the next generation of African creatives. The new platform, Vikwyn Musicplanet, functions as an online marketplace where songwriters and producers can collaborate and trade intellectual property, including beat instrumentals and lyrics.
Vikwyn noted that the decision to establish the platform followed his observation of existing gaps in the African music industry’s supply chain. He emphasized that the goal is to shift from being a solo performer to an industry enabler by providing infrastructure for fellow artists to scale their careers.
According to the CEO, the project is part of a broader commitment to fostering consistency and professional confidence within the regional creative economy.
