“They went to the farm” – Lady cries out as mother, brother gets kidnapped in Ogun, releases audio

A Nigerian lady has cried out on social media after her mother and brother were allegedly kidnapped while travelling to their farm in Ogun State.
According to her, she had spoken with both of them earlier after they arrived at the farm before they suddenly became unreachable.
Speaking emotionally in a viral video, she said:
“Yesterday, my mum and my brother travelled. They even travelled before I woke up. When they got there, I spoke with my brother, I spoke to my mum, we even sent pictures.”
She explained that she initially assumed there was a network issue after her brother stopped replying to messages, not knowing something serious had happened.
The lady further revealed that she later received a voice note from her mother claiming they had been kidnapped, while the abductors allegedly demanded ₦100 million before it was reportedly negotiated to ₦50 million.
She also said she has not been able to reach her brother and does not know his whereabouts.
“I saw my mum’s notification come in. She sent a voice note. This morning again, she called and asked how much have we raised? They are asking for cash.”
“I asked her where my brother was, she said she has not seen my brother, that they carried them separately,” she added.
The incident has sparked concern online, with many Nigerians expressing sympathy and calling for urgent intervention from security agencies.
At the time of reporting, the whereabouts of the woman’s brother remain unknown, as efforts to reach him have reportedly been unsuccessful.
