OWERRI – Ahead of the nation’s 2027 general elections, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Imo state chapter, Hon. Austin Onyedebelu, has predicted a landslide victory for the party in all stages.
He boasted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would have a smooth ride to victory with massive votes from Imo State.
Onyedebelu, who briefed newsmen at the party secretariat in Owerri on the outcome of the party’s primaries conducted in the state said that the exercise was free, fair and transparent in line with democratic principles and guidelines as outlined by the NWC of the party.
He said that the broom symbol party (APC) is now more cohesive, fortified and prepared to face the on-coming general elections and was sure to sweep the polls.
The politician commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for his outstanding leadership, guidance and commitment to the sustenance of the party in the state.
He congratulated those who emerged victorious at the primaries and enjoined those who could not make it to accept their defeat in good faith and join hands with the victors to secure victory for the party in the main election.
