Social media personality Verydarkman has reacted after presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga allegedly made claims about him online.
Recall that on Wednesday, Verydarkman had berated the politician after he called for his arrest over viral fake voice note of the president.
In a lengthy statement shared on social media, Verydarkman accused Onanuga of deliberately spreading false information about him in an attempt to create grounds to silence or “cage” him.
He claimed the alleged move was motivated by personal hatred and frustration over his outspoken criticism of issues in the country.
According to the activist, he believed there was an effort to use the controversy against him, but said the alleged plan failed.
He further argued that many national issues have gone viral without receiving comments from government officials, yet attention was focused on him.

“It’s been over 24hours since the no brain bayo onanuga who unfortunately is the spokesperson of bola Ahmed tinubu who also sadly is the president of the federal republic of Nigeria(a country of great concern) came out to spread a false information about me(Verydarkblackman) in order to enable him have the opportunity to cage me.
As the ancestors will have it their whole plan failed before their eyes…
