2027: Kwankwaso meets Nasarawa NDC candidates

Vice Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, in next year’s general elections, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, on Tuesday met with the Nasarawa State candidates of the party.

The meeting took place at his Maitama residence in Abuja.

The high-level engagement is said to be centred on boosting party structures, fostering unity among stakeholders, and fine-tuning strategies to advance the party’s vision and objectives, ahead of upcoming political activities.

The meeting also reflected the party’s commitment to building a strong, united, and people-driven platform capable of delivering positive change for Nigerians.

DAILY POST reports that Kwankwaso was officially announced as the party’s Vice Presidential candidate on Saturday after the party declared former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, its presidential flag bearer.

Recall that Obi and Kwankwaso left the African Democratic Congress, ADC, for the NDC, citing internal divisions and court cases.
