American rapper, producer, and fashion designer Kanye West, also known as Ye, has been sued by a model over an alleged assault that took place 16 years ago during a music video shoot.
The accuser, identified simply as Jenn, made the allegations during an interview with the BBC. She claimed the incident occurred in 2010 while she was working on the set of one of the rapper’s music videos.
According to Jenn, she alleged that the music star choked her and repeatedly forced his fingers into her mouth during the filming. She explained that she had to struggle to keep her tongue out of the way while the alleged assault was taking place.
Reacting to the development, Kanye West’s legal team strongly denied any wrongdoing on the part of the music star.
The rapper’s lawyer stated that the interaction between West and the model on the music video set was entirely consensual, adding that the accuser did not raise any objections to the actions at the time.
