Media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has stirred controversy online following his reaction to the news of Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha welcoming a baby boy with fashion designer and CEO Luminee.
The couple announced the birth of their son on June 15, 2026, just about seven months after Baba Ijesha was released from prison in November 2025, a timeline that has triggered widespread discussion on social media.
In a video posted on his Instagram page on June 16, Daddy Freeze drew attention to the short gap between the actor’s release and the reported conception of the child.
He jokingly questioned how the pregnancy could have happened so quickly, sarcastically suggesting that the actor might have “transferred it via Bluetooth” while still incarcerated, noting that conjugal visits are not permitted under Nigerian law.
He further added that the baby could have been born prematurely due to the timeline, while mocking the idea that Baba Ijesha might possess “superpowers” capable of impregnating a woman from afar.
Baba Ijesha previously served about three years in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting a minor. His release in late 2025 had already generated public debate across social media platforms.
The announcement of his child’s birth has once again divided opinion online, with some users congratulating the couple while others questioned the timing.
