BREAKING: Reps summon service chiefs, Ribadu as insecurity skyrockets

The House of Representatives on Tuesday summoned service chiefs and the National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu to appear before the parliament.

The development followed the rising incidents of insecurity across the country.

The resolution was passed during Tuesday’s plenary following the adoption of a motion sponsored by Sulaiman Gumi, lawmaker representing Gummi/Bukkuyum federal constituency in Zamfara state.

DAILY POST reports that bandits and terrorists have been on a rampage across the country, killing and abducting unsuspecting citizens.

There have been calls for President Bola Tinubu to sack the service chiefs to pave the way for more capable hands.
