Democracy Day: ISGN Media Team Commends Ibori-Suenu as Hope-Ayigbe Road Project Nears Completion

Residents of Adjamuyavwe Community in Ethiope Federal Constituency have expressed appreciation following the completion of the Hope-Ayigbe Road project, a key infrastructure initiative facilitated by the member representing Ethiope Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu.
The commendation came during a project inspection tour conducted by the ISGN Media Team as part of activities marking the 2026 Democracy Day celebration and preparations for the third anniversary of the lawmaker’s tenure.

Led by its Director of Media, Dr Ofa Henry, alongside Mr Omaghomi Aghogho, the team visited several project sites across the constituency to assess the progress of ongoing development projects.

Speaking during the inspection, the team disclosed that the Hope-Ayigbe Road project, including the construction of drainage facilities, had been completed, bringing relief to residents and road users in the area.

According to the team, the road serves as a vital link to major institutions and facilities within the kingdom, including the Delta State University Teaching Hospital, Oghara, Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara, Western Delta University, and the kingdom’s central market.

The road is also expected to improve access for farmers, traders, students, teachers, healthcare workers, and residents while providing a strategic connection to the Benin-Expressway.

Dr Henry noted that the project would significantly enhance economic activities, improve access to healthcare and education, and boost social development within the community and beyond.
He commended Rt. Hon. Ibori-Suenu for what he described as her commitment to the development of the constituency through the facilitation of people-oriented projects.
The media team also praised the contractor for delivering quality work within the schedule and urged contractors handling other constituency projects to accelerate work and ensure timely completion. Those yet to commence work were advised to mobilise to their project sites without further delay.

The ISGN Media Team stated that over the past three years, the federal lawmaker has continued to demonstrate dedication to the growth and development of Ethiope Federal Constituency through various infrastructural projects and empowerment programmes.

The team congratulated both the lawmaker and the people of the constituency on the successful completion of the road project, describing it as a milestone achievement that reflects the dividends of democratic governance.

It added that as activities marking the third anniversary of Rt. Hon. Ibori-Suenu’s tenure continues, the media team will highlight additional projects and programmes executed across the constituency while appreciating traditional rulers, community leaders, stakeholders and constituents for their continued support.
