Earlier reports revealed that the actor’s remains were received at his father’s residence in Arochukwu, Abia State, on Wednesday. A wake-keeping ceremony was subsequently held in his honour, drawing several notable figures from the Nigerian film industry, including Ini Edo, IK Ogbonna, Mike Godson, Omoni Oboli, Ayo Makun, and other colleagues.
Videos shared online captured emotional moments as loved ones, industry associates, community members, and well-wishers gathered to pay their final respects and celebrate his life.
As the burial ceremony takes place today, photos and videos from the event have continued to surface across social media platforms.
The funeral appears to be themed around the colour white, with mourners dressed in white attire while the venue decorations also reflect the same colour, symbolising honour, peace, and remembrance.
