Gov Aiyedatiwa Congratulates Oyebanji, Faduyile On Election Victory At Polls

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has congratulated his Ekiti State counterpart, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, on his re-election for a second term in office.
He described the outcome of the governorship election as a resounding endorsement of Governor Oyebanji’s purposeful leadership and people-oriented policies.
Aiyedatiwa added that the victory reflected the confidence and trust reposed in Oyebanji by the people of Ekiti State.
He said: “The renewed mandate is a testament to the remarkable strides recorded by the Oyebanji administration in the areas of infrastructure development, economic growth, social welfare, and good governance.”
Governor Aiyedatiwa, therefore, expressed confidence in Governor Oyebanji that he would continue to consolidate on the gains of his first term and further advance the development and prosperity of Ekiti State.
He commended the electorate for their peaceful conduct and commitment to the democratic process.
Governor Aiyedatiwa, therefore, wished his Ekiti counterpart a successful second term and assured him of his continued support and cooperation in the collective pursuit of progress and development in the South-West region and the country at large.
Moreover, Governor Aiyedatiwa also congratulated Prof. Adedayo Faduyile on his victory in the just concluded Ondo South Senatorial bye-election.
The governor described the outcome of the bye-election as a reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in the medical doctor by the people of the district.
He said the victory of the former President of the Nigerian Medical Association and distinguished academic underscores the people’s belief in his capacity to provide effective representation and advance the interests of Ondo South at the National Assembly.
According to Governor Aiyedatiwa, Prof. Faduyile’s sterling contributions to medicine, academia, and public service have equipped him for the task ahead, expressing confidence that he would deploy his vast experience and expertise in the service of the people.
He said: “On behalf of the Government and good people of Ondo State, I warmly congratulate Professor Francis Adedayo Faduyile on this well-deserved victory. His emergence is a further affirmation of the faith our people have in purposeful leadership.
“I am confident that he will offer quality representation and work with relevant stakeholders to promote the development and prosperity of Ondo South and our dear State.”
Moreover, Governor Aiyedatiwa commended the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC), security agencies, and the electorate for ensuring a peaceful and credible electoral process.
He, therefore, urged all stakeholders in Ondo Southern Senatorial District to rally round the senator-elect in the collective interest of the progress and development of the district.
