Nigerian gospel singer Kenny Saint Brown is defending herself over her Father’s Day message.
While the world celebrated Father’s Day on Sunday, June 21, KSB took to her Instagram page to celebrate herself.
She appreciated herself and other moms who play both roles because someone else couldn’t handle one. KSB said she was grateful she didn’t grow a moustache while playing her fatherly role in raising her kids.

Her post didn’t sit well with most of her fans, who slammed her for it.
“It is for those who have enjoyed their fathers to celebrate their fathers and for those who also play that role to celebrate themselves. That is the freedom and a subjective celebration.
While responding to another father, who noted that she has three Mother’s Days to celebrate herself, she said that when one plays all the roles, one gets to pick all the accolades.
