The commitment of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, to rewarding diligence, professionalism, and dedicated service has once again found expression in the promotion of Three Hundred and Seventy-Four (374) officers serving in the Kwara State Police Command.
The promotion exercise, approved by the Inspector-General of Police as part of the ongoing nationwide elevation of deserving personnel across the Nigeria Police Force, saw Three Hundred and Sixty-Five (365) Police Constables promoted to the rank of Corporal, Two (2) Corporals elevated to the rank of Sergeant, Five (5) Sergeants promoted to the rank of Inspector, and Two (2) Superintendents of Police advanced to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police.
The Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, CP Ojo Adekimi, congratulated the newly promoted officers and described the elevation as a recognition of their commitment, sacrifice, and invaluable contributions to the maintenance of law and order.
The CP noted that promotion is both a reward for good performance and a call to greater responsibility.
He urged the beneficiaries to remain disciplined, professional, and committed to the core values of the Nigeria Police Force while rededicating themselves to the protection of lives and property. He further appreciates the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu NPM, for his unwavering commitment to personnel welfare, career progression, and institutional development, noting that the promotion exercise has significantly boosted the morale of officers and men of the Command.
