The Israeli bombardments coincided with large-scale demolition operations carried out by the occupation forces inside areas under their control in the north and south of the enclave.
In the southern city of Khan Younis, the Israeli army carried out at least 10 demolitions of buildings and facilities east of the city, alongside two demolitions in the eastern neighbourhoods of Gaza City, according to eyewitnesses.
On 8 October 2023, Israel began a two-year genocide on Gaza, leaving around 73,000 Palestinians dead and nearly 173,000 injured, mostly women and children, whilst destroying 90 percent of the infrastructure.
Despite the ceasefire agreement declared on 10 October 2025, Israel continues its operations by restricting the entry of humanitarian aid and conducting daily bombardments, which have killed 936 Palestinians and injured 2,903 others, mostly women and children.
