Nigerian actress, model and media personality, Nancy Isime, has revealed that her family’s financial struggles pushed her to work harder for success.
Speaking on the Tea With Tay podcast, she said she grew up in a comfortable home and enjoyed the benefits of her father’s success. However, the family later lost its wealth, leading to a major change in their lifestyle.
Rather than giving up on her dreams, Isime said the experience strengthened her determination. She explained that she remained focused on achieving the life she wanted.
The actress added that she had always intended to build her own career and create wealth through hard work and personal effort.
“I was born with a silver spoon, and I lost it. My dad was pretty wealthy at some point, but then things changed,” she said.
“I’ve always known I wanted to work. I know for a fact that I’m destined to live a good life, I’m destined to roll in money, I’m destined to look like money, so you know what? Let’s work for it.”
The actress said the experience strengthened her belief in hard work and taking responsibility. She added that it became a key motivation behind her success.
