Obidient Movement Vows To Expose Malicious Attempt To Tarnish Peter Obi’s Reputation

The National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Yunusa Tanko, has vowed that any malicious attempt to tarnish the integrity and reputation of Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, will be exposed.

Naijaonpoint reports that Tanko made this known in a post on his 𝕏 handle, dismissing claims that Peter Obi demolished a mosque while he was governor of Anambra State.

Tanko insisted that evidence indicates that Peter Obi supported Muslims and built a mosque as governor.

He wrote, “We will continue to debunk the false allegations against His Excellency, Peter Obi.

“From the claim that he demolished a mosque, when evidence shows that he supported and built one, to the misinformation surrounding the ID card issue, we will continue to present the facts.

“As we have always done, we will challenge falsehoods and expose every malicious attempt to tarnish his integrity and reputation.

“Truth remains constant, and no amount of propaganda can change it. A New Nigeria is Possible, and Nigeria will be OK.”

Meanwhile, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has criticised Peter Obi describing him as a “food is ready” politician.

Wike said Obi lacked the capacity to confront the challenges that come with leadership.

The former Rivers State governor spoke on Monday during his monthly media parley in Abuja.

Wike said Nigeria’s challenges required leaders who could withstand pressure and confront difficulties directly.

According to him, leadership is not about criticising others or seeking an easy path to power.
