Pastor Iren Vows To Contribute To National Progress After Lagos Military Visit

The founder of Celebration Church International, Pastor Emmanuel Iren, has said Nigeria can overcome its challenges and reach its full potential.

He shared the message in an Instagram post on Tuesday after a courtesy visit to military personnel in Lagos.

According to Iren, the visit gave him a closer look at the dedication and sacrifice of the nation’s armed forces.

He wrote:

“Courtesy visit to the Military Watch men of Lagos yesterday. I felt their heart for the Nation. Good men!”

He stressed the need for both prayer and practical action in nation-building. “In prayer we will pray. In action, we will act. Nigeria MUST work,” he added.

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Youth President also unveiled plans for a humanitarian programme to support vulnerable Nigerians.

He said the youth body would soon begin recruiting volunteers for the initiative.

In his words:

“The PFN Youth wing will be asking for volunteers to help us execute an idea that will go a long way to help vulnerable people. When we call you, please answer.”

The announcement comes as calls grow for stronger cooperation between faith-based organisations, security agencies and civil society groups to address social and humanitarian challenges.
