Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong, has felicitated with the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, on the occasion of her birthday.
In a goodwill message, Lalong described Justice Dongban-Mensem as an outstanding jurist and a proud daughter of Plateau State who has distinguished herself through exemplary service to Nigeria’s judiciary.
He noted that her career on the Bench has been marked by integrity, professionalism, courage, and a strong commitment to justice, qualities that have earned her respect across the country and beyond.
The senator also commended her contributions to the strengthening of democratic institutions and the development of the judiciary, as well as her humanitarian and philanthropic efforts that have positively impacted vulnerable groups.
Lalong joined her family, colleagues, and well-wishers in thanking God for her life and prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and strength as she continues her service to the nation. He wished her greater accomplishments in her judicial duties and ongoing contributions to national development.
