Social media users have been reacting with ridicule to Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire following the resurfacing of an old video in which she passionately praised her now-estranged husband, Frederick Leonard, for being faithful.
In the throwback clip from their 2022 wedding, Peggy confidently assured viewers that her husband does not engage in womanising or infidelity. She repeatedly emphasized his loyalty while showering him with admiration.
At the time, the actress described herself as fortunate to be married to him and encouraged single women to be patient in their search for a life partner.
Her words…
“I saw a man who is not a womaniser, and most importantly, that’s why I stayed for this long. Please don’t change, Fredrick is one man that I can beat my chest on, despite what everybody is saying, that he doesn’t womanise. I will love you, I will respect you,” she said.
